Our Heritage Journey

Authentic Sweets Churning
Since 1890

A Family Legacy of Authentic Mithai

The legendary journey of Madugula Halwa began in 1890, in the historical town of V. Madugula. It was started by a local family preparing authentic, slow-churned wheat-milk halwa. Using only copper pots, firewood stoves, and high-quality local jaggery and cow ghee, they crafted a sweet that quickly gained fame for its signature chewy texture and cashew toppings.

Through multiple generations, this family recipe was protected and passed down carefully. What began in a small home kitchen grew to define the sweet culinary identity of the region, putting V. Madugula on the food map of India.

Empowering Local Livelihoods

Today, Madugula Halwa is more than just a traditional dessert—it is a lifeline. The preparation, packaging, and distribution of our sweets provide stable employment and financial independence to dozens of local families in V. Madugula and surrounding villages.

At Sri Lakshmi Moda Ganesh Home Foods, we proudly carry this flame. By ensuring that every single box of Halwa, Boondi Laddu, and Savory Snacks is prepared by hand using traditional recipes, we preserve both the original taste and the socio-economic framework of our hometown.

Our Core Values

Unyielding Quality

We never compromise. From organic jaggery to premium selected cashew nuts and top-grade cow ghee, only the best enters our kitchen.

100% Traditional Methods

We do not use synthetic thickeners, preservatives, or shortcuts. Our wheat-milk extraction process takes 3 days, just as it did in 1890.

Community Support

By keeping our preparations fully manual, we maximize local jobs and support local dairy farmers and agricultural artisans.
